List of 50 Backup Castings for ’50 Shades of Grey’ Released

Charlie Hunnam dropped out as the lead in the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie earlier this month, having been scared off by the movie’s hype, and was recently replaced by Jamie Dornan. Producers have planned for the possibility of Dornan pulling out of the project as well, and we’ve obtained a leaked copy of their backup casting list!

Two stars of the Harry Potter series, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, made the cut. The list includes some other unexpected picks, such as the seldom-seen Paul Walker and the irrelevant Emilio Estevez. We question whether some of those listed, such as #45, Philip Seymour Hoffman, are ready for the semi-nudity the role requires. Producers have declined to comment on why there are no black actors on the list.
